Board of Trustees - Fred B. Fantini

Mr. Fantini, a lifelong resident of Cambridge, and graduate of the Cambridge Public Schools, will be the senior member of the Committee, serving his tenth term. Fred is employed by the Town of Arlington as the Assistant Treasurer and Assistant Tax Collector. Fred holds a Master's Degree in Management from Cambridge College and an undergraduate degree from Bentley College in Accounting and Finance. Fred is the President of Cambridge Community Television (CCTV), a non-profit organization located in Cambridge. Fred was proud of the School Committee's accomplishments last term, specifically the creation of a strong vocational education program, the restructuring of our high school, and the passage of a voluntary school desegregation program. Fred is looking forward to working with the newly elected members and is happy to be returning as the Dean of the Cambridge School Committee.
